“You’ll encounter this classic move — or a modified version of it — in a variety of workouts, such as high-intensity interval training (HIIT), CrossFit, circuit training, or as part of a strength training workouts,” says Amanda Capritto, an ACE-certified personal trainer and a CrossFit level 1 trainer based in Miami.
