Sylvester Stallone will be celebrating his 75th birthday on July 6, and from the looks of things he has no intention of slowing down.
On Wednesday, the Rocky star took to his Instagram page and shared a photo of himself flexing his bulging right bicep for the camera during an intense workout at the gym.
While he is arguably the most recognizable action star of all time on the big screen, the New York City native has become a star of sorts on the small screen, as an Instagram fitness star.

In the new photo, Stallone is staring directly into the camera while doing the traditional weight lifter flexing pose.
‘Went to damn the gym today when I didn’t want to. But, Doing things when you do NOT want to , I found an extremely important key to success,’ he wrote to his 13.2 million fans and followers in the caption.
And then, in a likely reference to an upcoming new role, he added, ‘Plus, I have to get ready to start doing some old school ACTION!’

Just last week, Stallone flexed his muscles when he took some selfie photos with a group of four young fans who recognized him on the street as Rocky.
‘May truly love moments like this. The fact that this generation even knows who Rocky is is such a source of pride for me. Made my day. Keep punching,’ he gushed in the caption.
And back in March, the exercise enthusiast showed off his need to pump iron, and comedic touch, when he posted a throwback snap of himself lifting a man over his head. The image shows a shirtless Stallone back in 1965, looking fierce as he keeps the man steady over the top of his head.

He plays the leading man role in the superhero thriller film, Samaritan, directed by Julius Avery, alongside Javon Walton, Martin Starr, Moisés Arias, Dascha Polanco, and Natacha Karam.

The release of Samaritan has been delayed several times, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, having previously scheduled to be released on November 20, 2020, December 11, 2020, and most recently June 4, 2021.
MGM has since pushed back the June 4 debut, but has not released the final release date.
